Who’s your favorite CB Performer? I know that’s kind of a tricky question when it comes to any adult site, and Chaturbate is the giant of webcam sex sites. Hell, I have a hard enough time choosing my favorite camwhore performing on the platform at any given moment, let alone trying to name an all-time favorite. But, of course, it’s OK to have many, many favorites, as I do. The only time that might become a problem is if they’re all putting on live pussy-diddling and butthole-fingering shows at the exact same time. Then what the hell are you going to do?

I’m sure some of you super nerds out there have multiple-monitor setups so that you can watch half a dozen online peep shows at once, but the rest of us just don’t have the equipment or the discipline. The site’s brand new and just popped up on my radar, so I decided to get in there early and see what’s up.

A Whole Hell of a Lot of CB Performers

Man, CBPerformer has a barebones setup, to say the least. Most websites hit you with a logo, a header, and a little blurb telling you what you’re going to get before getting into it. Maybe it’s because they’re so new and haven’t been fully set up yet, but they don’t even have those little decorations. I have to assume they’re coming because, as it is, it isn’t even obvious what the website does if you don’t already know. All you get is a search bar and the first page of a 1100+ page list of usernames. The presentation is purely utilitarian.

One of the first clues about the site’s utility is the name of that sprawling, encyclopedia-long menu of titles: Performer Index. They’ve even helpfully included the whole number of chicks they’ve got listed, which is already absurdly high, especially for one on a domain registered within the last couple of weeks. Nearly 72,000 Chaturbate performers are already listed, a number I expect to explode further in no time at all. Whatever machine they’ve built to collect treasure for them, it’s obviously doing the trick.

One of the most vital measures of any porn site—whether it is a free tube, paysite, or webcam recording service—is how often they update. If you click on a CBPerformer’s name, it will tell you when she was last online, but that doesn’t really tell you how often CBPerformer.com itself is updated. So I went ahead and asked the folks who ran the place and was pleasantly surprised by the answer. The database is updated every half hour, so the index is always fresh and up to date.

I refreshed the front page of CBPerformer.com after I finished typing the above paragraphs. Sure enough, that fat number at the top of the Performer Index grew by about 40 in the past half hour. If they keep that up, that’s potentially a couple of thousand more performers added to the list every day. That’s some ridiculous growth—it reminds me of that time I overdosed on truck-stop boner pills.

So How’s This Thing Work?

CB Performer seems like it has a lot to offer despite the unassuming, super basic appearance. I was curious to see how their recordings look, so I started clicking random names on the front page. I kept expecting to find archives of prerecorded webcam shows, but each name brought me to a profile page with the stats they list at Chaturbate, but no videos to shake my dick at. So I tried the search bar, first with my favorite camwhores and then with some of the current Featured sluts at Chaturbate. Each time, I got the same message.

“Not enough cam shows from (insert camwhore name here)?” reads the text on the page. “Would you like more than 1 cam show per day?” I’m not sure where that one-per-day thing comes in because I didn’t find any freebies among the models I clicked or searched for. They give you a list of perks you’ll get if you buy into the service, followed by a price: it costs 21.95€ for CBPerformer to record your favorite CB Performer’s performances. That’s per model, not all-you-can-fap once you’ve signed up.

There is a short setup period, meaning it’s no use signing up right now to record a performance happening at this moment. Once you’ve subscribed, it takes 24 hours to set up, and then CB Performer will record up to 48 files per day for you. It’s limited to public shows, which shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anybody who frequents cam sites. Once recorded, you’ll have access to them online for a month or more, with full streaming and download access. They’ll even send you an email or SMS alert so you know there’s something new to crank off to.

And while I couldn’t find that “1 cam show per day” they mentioned, there is a demo preview linked at the bottom of every CBPerformer profile. The preview demonstrates the site’s format and delivery with three pages of videos by a cute blonde named Amy. Then, beneath a grid of unclickable thumbnails from each video, you can treat yourself to the Stream or Download button. The baked-in video player is pretty basic but does have playback speed controls.

You don’t get to choose your preferred video resolution, but fortunately, they aren’t recording at toaster quality. A twenty-minute MP4 was a hefty 800 megs, and that’s one of the shorter ones. I hope you sprang for the big external hard drive, or you’re going to have to delete all those baby pictures your wife took.

Who Else is Recording Your Wet-Dream Camwhore?

The basic premise of CBPerformer.com seems like a winner, but how does it stack up against other webcam recording sites? If you’ve checked out my list of Free Cam Girl Video Sites here at ThePornDude, you know CB Performer isn’t the first with a similar idea. There are sites like CamWhores.tv, CamWhoresBay, and WebcamRips where prerecorded cam shows are served up the same way they do videos on any free sex tubes.

Most of these sites don’t let you choose who they’re going to record, but a couple have premium features that do just that. Recurbate, for example, lets you add two models to their record list for a little bit less than what CBPerformer charges for one. That makes Recurbate seem like the easy choice, but CBPerformer still has the edge if you want downloads because Recurbate charges more for those.

CBPerformer.com is still new as hell and still a work in progress, and I hope to see more features and more things to look at rolled in soon. That “one cam show per day” thing implies they’re going to have some freebies available soon, and maybe I just didn’t dig deep enough to find the ones that are already there. (To be fair, though, if they’re only offering one a day to unpaid visitors, cheapskates are better off using one of the other sites.)

One thing I’d really like to see is a more robust search engine. Any reasonable adult site needs an efficient way to sift through it, especially when their catalog is vast. Currently, you can only search by CB Performer name. That means the site isn’t much use unless you know the name of your favorite models. They have those stats pulled from Chaturbate like Sex, Interested In, and Language, so it’d be nice to see them included in the search. Also, if they grabbed the full tags list for every Chaturbate performer, that’d be even more useful.

I refreshed CBPerformer’s front page as I wrapped up my review; they will definitely hit the 72,000-performer mark within the next couple of hours, and that number’s just going to keep rising. Right now, their offerings are kind of limited, though I’m sure any of the rabid Chaturbate fans reading this can immediately understand what makes their services useful. They’re worth a look if you’ve been trying to figure out how to watch your favorite camsluts when they’re not on your schedule, and I’m looking forward to seeing what other sorts of perks and peeks they come up with as the site develops.
